Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 31, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Integrity Senior Care is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities and the older adults and family caregivers we serve. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
2. Measures We Take
This website has been built with the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline on the element in focus.
- Skip to content:A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass the navigation and move straight to the main content of each page.
- Reduced motion:Animations and transitions respect the operating system “reduce motion” preference and are minimised for visitors who enable it.
- Semantic structure: Pages use meaningful HTML landmarks and a logical heading hierarchy so assistive technologies can navigate them reliably.
- Text alternatives: Informative images include descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
- Colour and contrast: Our colour palette is chosen to maintain readable contrast between text and its background.
- Responsive layout: Content reflows for different screen sizes and supports browser zoom and increased text size.
3. Ongoing Effort and Known Limitations
We review accessibility as the site evolves and as new content is published. Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Accessibility also depends in part on the browser and assistive technologies you use, and on third-party tools embedded in the site, such as the form-protection challenge on our contact form.
If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can prioritise a fix and, where possible, provide the information you need in an alternative format.
4. Accessible Alternatives
If any part of this website prevents you from contacting us or learning about our services, you are always welcome to reach us directly by phone or email and we will assist you personally. Our referral form is also available as a downloadable PDF, and we are happy to provide its contents in another format on request.
5. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any difficulty, or have a suggestion for how we can improve, please contact us at: contact@integrityseniorcare.ca or (226) 884-6767.
Our typical response time is within one business day.
